HR-3UTG are old HR-3UTGA are new Sep 15, 2010

Eneloops are great batteries. This review is about this particular listing, which shows a picture of a HR-3UTGA package, but lists HR-3UTG as a part number. The "A" parts are the new stock with 150% more cycles and improved self-discharge. Be sure you get what you pay for!

eneloop great product May 01, 2009
By hlee i have many NiMh batteries that have a little greater amp hour rating than the eneloop .. but i find you can rarely use that extra capacity .. reason, the standard batteries self discharge quickly and in a week or so you cant depend on them .. you have to charge them just before you use them and thats inconvenient.. now comes the eneloop .. i love them .. you can charge them and not use them for months .. then you can depend on them to be at nearly full capacity when they are needed .. so you actually realize more usefull capacity than the others .. you dont have to charge them as often so the life time goes up .. they also can be recharged many more times than standard NiMh batteries again increasing useful life .. wouldnt it be great to have batteries like the eneloop in your cordless drill some day .. how many times has your drill been dead just when you need it (always in my case) .. with the eneloop you need only charge them once a year or so .. and its always ready when you are .. i cant wait until these batteries are available in such equipment.. the eneloop is working so well for me that i am replacing all my AA and AAA NiCd and NiMh and even some primary lithiums (photography) .. my flashlights are now eneloop and i dont worry about using them a lot or just storing them for an emergency .. its nice to have them always ready and dependable .. i guess you can say "i am a very happy customer" ..

Makes Canon Digital Cameras Last Jul 13, 2009
By D. Cash The Sanyo eneloops are the only batteries I can get that will last more than a few pictures in my Canon digital cameras (A570is and A1000is). It seems like all the Canon's that take only 2 AA cells have a notoriously high voltage cutoff for determining a low battery condition. The Sanyo eneloops keep a high enough voltage for most of their charge life to stay above the Canon cutoff voltage. I have not found any other rechargeable batteries that will work. Additionally, the eneloops will hold their charge far longer than standard NiMH batteries and can withstand more charge cycles.

solid, real recharchable batteries Apr 15, 2010
By A. Brasunas Work much better than the duracell or energizer "rechargable" batteries you see in stores. Those guys probably don't even want to sell real rechargables as they would eventually cut into their own sales of the disposables. These hold their charge, deliver good performance for weeks and months, and recharge dozens (and probably hundreds or thousands) of times to essentially full capacity.
Best rechargeable batteries I have owned Jan 20, 2012

I got these after purchasing some Duracell of the same size. Basically, there is no comparison... the Duracell are rubbish, not lasting any length of time in my Apple mouse. These chaps last ages and, if I go away on holiday, will stay charged over extended periods.
