Great Flash Value Dec 23, 2011
By M. Duralia I bought this flash for my wife's Sony A300 DSLR when the built in pop-up flash stopped working. I have bought other photography products from Vivtar ove the years and have never been disappointed.
The flash works very well, recovers quickly and the tilt feature allows a great deal of control over the amount of flash placed on the subject. It would be nice if the flash worked with TTL metering so the flash "amount" was controlled automatically but I believe this is a limitation of the Sony A300 and no the flash itself.
Overall, this is a great flash for the money; I highly recommend.
