Disappointing, better products available at same price. Jan 10, 2010 By M. D'Amico
The product produces no light, you can see the color of the plastic glow, but the surroundings are too dim, near black. The photo sensor is supposed to detect light and turn off the device but it doesn't work. The light only turns off only with a bright source of light such as direct sun rays.

There are about 3-4 colors that cycle through, but the transitions between colors is not smooth. Also there is no way to turn off the color cycling and just choose one color. The product plastic looks very cheap, very different from the photo.

* Poor Photo Sensor
* Cheap quality
* Color cycling is the only mode available; can't choose just one color

Overral this product is very disappointing. There are much better products at this price point such as Megabrite's.

This plug-in night light goes from one huge beam of light to completely dark and glowing. Perhaps the one I received is defective, as it had a post-it note attached to the packaging, that said "damaged." Whatever. It's impossible to sleep with it in your room at night and it does nothing in common areas but go from bright glaring light to completely dark. At the price I paid, it's not worth the cost of printing out a label, or the bother of taking it to the post office.

This doesn't really light up anything. I suppose it is only for decoration - don't get this if you are hoping to have some decsent lighting for the downstairs area at night.

This nightlight stays on all of the time - it doesn't shut off even in full daylight with all the room lights on. It is red, green, and blue.. When red, it casts no light at all. When green and blue, it casts some light but not enough to really see anything.

Just what I wanted. Not alot of light, but enough to get my bearings in the dark. Besides, it is interesting to watch the changing colors. If you want to light up a dark room, buy the white LED.
