Description

1 Powergenix 5 hour Charger and 8 Nizn AA Batteries. PowerGenix 5 Hour Fast Charger delivers an efficient charge at a great value. Charge your AA or AAA NiZn batteries in about five hours. Charges to 80% in 3 hours trickle charges to full in 5 Hours. Charges 2 or 4 AA or 2 AAA NiZn rechargeable batteries at a time (charge in pairs or all four). Features a built-in "switching" power supply which will automatically adjust to any voltage from 100-240VAC for international use. The PowerGenix Fast Charger is intended for use with eco-friendly NiZn batteries only. NiZn technology is perfectly suited for high-tech devices like MP3 players, digital cameras, toys, and LED lights. PowerGenix has developed a high-energy density, high-cycle life and low-cost nickel-zinc (NiZn) battery ideal for applications that demand high discharge rate capabilities. The technology offers compelling performance advantages, most notably a 30% weight and size reduction coupled with higher power and superior low temperature discharge behavior. Two of the more prominent features of the PowerGenix NiZn battery are its small size and low internal resistance, which enables the delivery of significantly more power during periods of peak demand than a nickel-cadmium (NiCd) or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery of comparable size. Although the design and construction of the cell is similar to NiCd, the higher voltage of PowerGenix's NiZn cell results in a 25% lower cell requirement in multi-cell packages, representing significant space and cost savings. NOTE: These batteries cannot be recharged in a standard NiMh recharger. Please use a PowerGenix or other Nickel Zinc charger.

5nizn AA batteries are great!  Aug 16, 2010
NIZN batteries are the best batteries I have ever used. rated at 1.6 volt rechargeable battery is far superior to the 1.2 volt NIMH rechargeable

5best batteries  Jun 13, 2010
I have a nice digital camera that was designed for AA alkaline batteries. I tried using NiMetal Halide batteries, but their 1.25V would only run the camera for a few photos even when fully charged. But I take 100s of picture in a single day. These 1.6V batteries do everything they claim. I recently was at an event and shot close to 300 pictures and did not have to change batteries once. With the old NiMH I'm sure I would have needed 3 set, or more.

5Amazing storage and energy cycle  May 31, 2010
I bought these batteries because I have two main categories of use for my electronics, those I use daily and those that sometimes get stored for months on end. In the past I used NiMh batteries and was ok with the life of them directly after a charge, storage was a different matter, they usually would discharge by the end of a week or two.

I switched to these new Nickel Zinc batteries and I am impressed all the way around. The charging period was about the same as my old batteries. The first use in a digital camera was so different though, the camera actually performed a bit better, faster if you will. The old batteries ran at 1.2 and these new ones at 1.6 which I believe makes all the difference. Now my camera sometimes get used daily on trips, the amount of shots I have gotten before recharging is astounding! Lately my budget has prevented a lot of trips so it has been stored about 2 months in my backpack. Took it out this morning to take pictures in the garden and the battery meter is still showing an almost full charge!!!

I have also switched to using these in my Wii-motes and Wii Fit balance board, again, varying usage and I have yet to recharge them after 3 months of use in these devices.

I highly recommend these products, if for no other reason than the amount of storage leak down time they exhibit and of course they are very environmentally friendly. Heck I melt these down one they fially expire and make some jewelry out of them! Can't do that with lithium or any mercury containing batteries.

5Rechargable Batteries  May 28, 2010
This is a great rechargable battey for use in the SkyCaddie SG3. It has plenty of voltage so the battery meter shows a full charge when using rechargable batteries unlike when using NiMH batteries. These last for a min. of 2 rounds of golf.

5Powergenix Rechargeable NiZn Batteries  May 17, 2010
I have a lots of portable electronic devises that require AA batteries. Some of them do not work well with standard rechargeable batteries and I didn't want to purchase alkaline batteries all the time so I gave these a try. They provide 1.4 volts (.2 more than other batteries) and all my electronic devices are now working perfectly and last a long time. Lets see if the bunny with the drum can keep up to these.
