works great for devices that require higher voltage Aug 28, 2010 all the batteries work well in some of my electronics which require higher voltages to function properly.
Superb Aug 23, 2010 I've had these batteries for months, and they out-perform any other I've tried (both single-use and rechargeable). They last longer in all devices, and my camera flash cycles more quickly.
I hope the AAAs come out later this year as planned.

Unacceptable Failure Rate Jul 27, 2010 I bought these for use with a camera flash. Quite quickly -- after only two days of work over a couple of weeks -- the batteries started failing and losing their charge quite quickly. After less than 50 1/4 and 1/2 power flashes, my flash would indicate that the battery had gone flat. That's horrid, I think. And then I noticed that some of the batteries wouldn't charge, with the "flashing red" LED indicating that the battery was sick enough not to charge. The horrible thing of this situation is that you can't clearly identify which of the batteries are dead -- the charger requires a minimum of two batteries in the unit and it could be either one so you end up playing a nightmarish game of wack-a-mole. I think I'll just return the whole thing.

Short Lived Jul 10, 2010 I was very disappointed with the life of these batteries. They do not last very long at all powering flashes for my camera. I did a test with these batteries in one Lumpro 120 flash vs fresh Duracell alkaline in another identical one for a model shoot in studio. I went through all 24 of these batteries I had in the same time I changed the Duracells once (8). I hoped these would have been the answer to power draining flashes, but they are not, even at 2500mWh. Good power when they are charged though, providing good recycle times.

I love them because they work great! Jul 02, 2010 Let's keep this simple. If you have an device that runs down fast even though your batteries still show a charge, these might be for you.
I put 4 of them in my digital camera and the camera is much happier. The flash, the speed, the focus all have picked up. The perk comes from the 1.6v obviously. Now the bad.
The batteries are not rate like most. Most rechargeables are rated in mAh. These are mWh. In a simple device test, they ran as long as an old 2000mAh NiMH battery. That's not too bad, but it's not 2500mAH.
Also the charger only charges the NiZN batteries. It would be nice if I could select between the two types so I would have to have so many chargers around.
I'm waiting for the AAA ones.
--- Update ---
I have two dozen of these batteries and they all work great. Though recently, my last eight pack had a bum battery. After a month it refused to charge. I did the usual things to try to get it back up, but nothing worked. I contacted Powergenix and within a week they had replaced my battery in my hand. They just made a loyal customer and walking fan boy. Even the best products fail but to back them up with such great service is mark of the best. So for those who are worried about those people who posted comments about customer support or the product, they may have done something wrong (ie, used a regular charger) or they may be trying to mislead you.
Also with the new lower prices, there isn't a reason to get these over regular 1.2v rechargeables.
